St. Louis is also home to the second oldest orchestra in the country the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. Even the professional hockey team based in St. Louis follows along with musical tradition, the St. Louis Blues.
Not to be outdone by concerts, St. Louis also has a rich history of musical theater including productions at both the Fox Theater and the outdoor Forest Park theater known as The Muny, to just name a couple.
